IMEye – What Data Does It Track?

In my previous post, I gave an overview of how IMeye will operate. But you may be asking yourself, exactly what kind of data will this IMeye keyword research tool actually return back to me? Glad you asked! Here is what I know so far about the data IMeye keeps track of for each keyword phrase:

  • The amount of searches
  • How many competing pages in Google
  • The number of pages which have the keyword in their title in Google
  • Estimated Adwords bids, including the highest, and the cheapest click
  • The top 10 sites in the Google SERPS
  • The Adwords ads that are showing for each keyword
  • Any Clickbank products that are using a keyword phrase to advertise
  • Any affiliate offers that have been promoting themselves using this

In addition, IMeye keeps track of certain flags for each keyword to help you identify:

  • Any physical products that are being marketed for each keyword
  • Any “exact match” domains are in the top 10 Google search results
  • Any EzineArticles articles, Youtube videos, Amazon products, Yahoo Answers are in the top 10 Google search results
  • Any Web 2.0 properties like Hubpages, Squidoo, Blogger, etc are in the top 10 Google search results

As you can see, all this information captured is quite important when trying to figure out if a keyword is “good” or not. While many keyword research tools do capture some of this info, none of them stores the total amount of data that IMeye does.
